frozen berries + white chocolate sauce
A wonderfully simple classic from The Ivy.
serves two
250g of frozen berries
150ml double cream
100g of white chocolate (or white chocolate buttons), broken up
Melt the chocolate in the double cream in a small non-stick pan, and keep bubbling away while you spread the berries onto two plates. Make sure they are in a single layer. Take the white chocolate sauce off the heat and pour onto the berries straight away. The glory of this is that the sauce defrosts the berries and the berries cool and coagulate the sauce. Fucking brilliant.
