almond + plum crumble

serves four
750g ripe plums, stoned and quartered
3 tbsps sugar
80g flour
60g cold butter, diced
3 tbsps ground almonds
3 tbsps sugar

Mix the plums and sugar together and spoon into an oven-proof dish. Rub the flour and butter together in a bowl until you have a (you guessed it) crumble. Add the ground almonds and sugar and mix briefly. Spread this mixture over the plums and bake at 180C/160C fan 40-45 minutes.
