paprika pork chops
serves two
2 thick pork chops (I favour a rib chop)
½ tbsp smoked paprika
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 dsp groundnut oil
Mix the paprika, syrup and oil together and rub into the chops. Leave in a dish in the fridge overnight or for as long as you can. Griddle or fry the chops until browned then transfer to a 170C/fan 150C oven for 25 minutes.
